The steps Bungie has taken ensures that the game will get updates frequently and keep things balanced. If they don't change the system the game will get bland and boring. The removal of some guns has helped pvp quite a bit and I am starting to see new guns being used. The new stasis subclass is great and is better now that they have released some patches. The new raid guns are AMAZING and the new exotics are some of the best we have seen in a while. With this new dlc it gives the game life and hope for the future. The game was getting too large and had too many op weapons. With the cutted content, this tastes too little, too late.and very short.Destiny has survived this long because all the fans always say: “next update will be the good one, the one Bungie fixes all issues”, mainly because of one aspect: Friends.Gamers want to login, join their mates and have some fun together, and they are willing to pay dor that to happen.as long as patience lasts, and it seems that it already started to fade for a lot of players.Destiny is not fighting for their future at this point, more for survival and the last cash-in before hope of the fans finally runs out.Europa as a new location is pretty, but rather empty, and with no new enemies. How long can tou kill the same targets hours on end, for all this years?Worth to wait for future news on destiny franchise, until then, maybe it is time to (for now) let tour ghost well stored away.Īll the people complaining about how their favorite gun being gone knows nothing about game design or balance. Once more the lack of content is very obvious and lets down all destiny hardcore gamers that see their dollars being robbed for a promise of a better future content.A couple of missions, one strike and one raid.that is it. Once more the lack of content is veryDestiny Franchise with this $50 update ($40 Dlc plus $10 season pass) have fee arguments to convince. I would tell anyone considering a purchase of this game to maybe watch some gameplay and decide if you really think its worth it, gameplay in my opinion is padded out with a boring grind like most games nowadays a cheap and rather pathetic means to make a game feel more longer than it actually is.ĭestiny Franchise with this $50 update ($40 Dlc plus $10 season pass) have fee arguments to convince. Taken King provided more contentSun setting of weapons without proving enough new weaponsOnly 1 new strikeNo new gambit modes or mapsNo new PPV mapsRaid is forgettable and very easyNo returning incentive since no difficult modes of raids or strikes is addedStasis is problematic, not many people want to be frozen still for several secondsBalancing issue with PVP mode makes any lure to returning to this mode null and void a mode built around sweats who play it several hours per dayNo incentive towards strikes, gambit or PVP since all gear is rehashedUnfortunately the game just lacks big time, it stinks of being overpriced I feel like I've been ripped off and sadly this is a common trend with gaming. Not to mention, the "vaulting" of WHOLE DESTINATIONS is quite possible the most destructive thing a developer can do to a MMORPG.Bungie, I'm not coming back. So many Strikes, Raids, Crucible maps and more were removed and all that's left in it's place is a shamble of a DLC. Forsaken was alright, cool lore additions, a good raid, and above all an interesting destination that kept me coming back for a time. This issue I have with Beyond Light is that it DESTROYS the lore building and first-time-player experience. The Taken King was the last great thing to come out of Destiny (content wise). Bungie likes to kick the dog until it cries then give it a treat and act like nothing happened.
